Steven Spielberg gathered many great movies such as Schindler's List, Jaws, ET, Saving Private Ryan, etc. to create a new, War Horse is a great achievement. The film was made in a professional manner, it looked great, sounded great. Legendary composer, John Williams created a wonderful and beautiful score. It is one of the best I've heard in Irvine years.Jeremy gives performance very sincere and convincing, hes just great. The rest of the cast, Emily Watson, Peter Mullan, David Thewlis, Tom Hiddleston, etc were all great, too. But the movie star, it's pretty amazing horse, facial expressions were all spot on. Which is just great, how do you see the film, from the perspective of the horse. Steven Spielberg deserves a lot of praise for it, and I Hoper found it.The cinematography is as good as it gets, which is quite surprising. The film cinematographer, Janusz we? Ski deserves every praise it gets, an Oscar surely awaited him. The movie deserves all the technical praise, it gets. Well edited, the amazing art direction, the appearance of a great movie, at times.The film is uncompromisingly sentimental, and I did not bothered him. Because it works so well, it made me care about the story, the characters, the horses. Epic good old fashion studio, I miss them and Im happy Spielberg delivered one. There are many powerful scenes in the film, when I cried. It was just so moving, it shows the true consequences of war. Some of the battle sequences are just amazing and astonishing.I happy to see Steven Spielberg in their best form. He showed that he is still one of the best in the business and I hope to see him more in the future. This may not be the best film, but certainly a beautiful film to watch. Id recommend anyone to see the film, it will appeal to everyone.
