While bookshelves are full of thoughtful, high-concept sci-fi movie genre shows that inhabit the invading aliens, intergalactic war and adventure, allowing the director and co-writer Duncan Jones, Moon, ä , r is much more than oddity.Not from Steven Soderbergh many overlook 2002 Extradition Stanislaw Lem's Solaris, a film rooted in the sci-fi realm delivered reflections on the human condition, which is deftly.It Moon tells the story of Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell), the only inhabitants of automated lunar mining base extraction of helium-3, the moon rocks returned to Earth to operate a brand mark : FUEL cool planet.Sams isolated three-year post, he soon came to an end, and he longs to return to Earth to see his wife. His only company in the West was that of Gerty, bases HAL-like robotic voice of Kevin Spacey. Unfortunately, the final weeks and days out to be the most difficult, and Sam discovers something squirrelly going on, both he and the audience to wonder about what happens actually happens , or just the drama that unfolds in his addled mind. thats about as much plot detail than I'll give each dig deeper into the story to give too much away. Be prepared, but it is thought-provoking story concerning issues of scientific ethics, corporate greed, human identity and compassion.There not aliens, laser / phaser, wormholes, warp engines or jump drives here, just lonely space age Concierge, unflappable monotone robot, and a lot of food for your brain to chow down on.This is what science fiction is Ta ; nkt to be.
