Review:
Welcome to the Punch ... I think ... So I could actually get to the advanced screening tonight Welcome Punch. Unfortunately, not a single one of London 150ish on the basis of my Facebook friends I can accompany advanced preview of the film in the first, I must admit that I was very disappointed. But now I wonder if they knew something that I did not! Eran Creevy, writer and director clearly sets the stage with an opening sequence that plays in London shiny, glass and steel fall Canary Wharf. It pulls us immediately. We find that we have invested almost immediately is the protagonist (James McAvoy as Max Lewinsky, police detective guy who had to calm t) and the block (Stern Mark Strong playing bad bad boy, Jacob Stern Wood), ready for history to tell us more on these two characters and their motivations behind actions.Borrowing heavily by the glow of audio-visual Nolan film BAT, especially The Dark Knight, was induced to believe that the cat elegant and mu, s action / crime caper style hot awaits us. I honestly found myself asking if this could actually be British Heat after the first 10 minutes or so. Unfortunately, about 15 minutes, the first complaint slapped me on the face (from McAvoy performance no less!) This was followed by the second and third, and continued to do so until the end at last, with a touch that is visible from a MI Distance and convoluted plot that had to be explained by the exposure of about 10 minutes before the movie ended! The relationships between the characters felt shallow and poorly developed, making it almost impossible sympathy and, in the end, leaving me a bit 'bored of the whole thing. None of the issues raised in our mind as we proceed through the narration of his answer and left me feeling cheated every time. The public needs to know why certain things are happening surely? Stern Woods Lewinsky treatment and vice versa, for one. So why not just tell us? The cast deliver excellent performance with the material they have surprisingly seal McAvoy, who gave one too many clichés? D response caricature our hero and made us less sympathetic plight. For all his films have good times and bad, in the end, poor, may be overwhelmed simply good. Disagreements (in the form of tools appropriately positioned, bad aim, etc) and wannabe Bourne esque plot, and the serious lack of satisfaction of evil straw k invented (because, technically, the villain was not) made the movie a lot worse than what they rightly deserved to be. Because from a technical point of view, the film looks and sounds great. And the story still feels interesting, and I want to know more. But, with a serious lack of character development and exploration of the (implicit) behind their stories, the film finds himself lying on his gun riddled again after 99 minut, his TU runtime.Sadly another missed opportunity for the course cinema.Unless British, this was designed as Infernal Affairs film style and a prequel / sequel fills in all decay Pages? Welcome to the Punch opens nationwide on 27 March.Rutvig Vaida
