Description:
Baseball scout in the twilight years of his daughter's illness is caused by the end of the recruiting trip.
Review:
I usually do not like movies about sports. I like sports, movies, not just about sport. That being said, this movie was not so much about baseball as it was about a father and daughter relationship. He also touched on how technology has taken over the human element of scouting players. This film is entirely shot Money, where the technology actually helps the development team. Gus Lobel (Clint Eastwood) is an aging scout for the Atlanta Braves who is struggling with their own eyes and the front office have to worry about whether he's still up and coming talent spotting task. Because of this problem, Gus is an angry man, which really adds a lot of humor in the film. His character reminded me of the character that Eastwood played a Grand Torino type. His daughter, Mickey (Amy Adams) learns that his father is difficult, reluctantly takes on the role of supervisor and follows his father, his search for adventure. Unfortunately, he knows more about baseball than perhaps any other in the film. Johnny Flanagan (Justin Timberlake) is an aspiring sports broadcaster, which was Gus year. relationship that develops between Mickey (named after Mickey Mantle), and Johnny is fun to watch and gives an insight into the Mickeys reluctant to build a serious relationship with anyone. Pete Klein (John Goodman) is responsible for the intermediary that brings together Mickey and Gus. I really liked his unyielding dedication and faith in Gus. It was also nice to see again, Scott Eastwood (Bill Clark) Act, together with his father. They acted together in several films, and it was nice to see them spending time with family. I think that the entire cast of this movie is definitely better, and I am confident that he will be younger audience to the theater. I do not think this movie was absolutely wonderful, but it was good fun. There were aspects of the film, which was fairly predictable, but I expect it to be played. Director Robert Lorenz could have guessed from the park (as he did with Million Dollar Baby), but I think that is really threefold. We recommend that you do not have to sit on the bench and go and see this movie. I give this film a green light.
