Review:
Upon receiving the news that they are making a movie based around the hunt for interesting people to 911, I have an interest in this movie to know more about the basic events. What disappointment.The film is very slow and uninteresting. Do not misunderstand - I do not expect in a movie full of action, but at least an interesting plot. First, I can understand that the majority of the time the characters say as they mumble and use special words on the names of unfamiliar foreign caption wouldve been very helpful. Second, there is a lack of character development that we can not relate or sympathize with. To be honest, I think the main focus is character, Maya, is very unlikable and annoying. Yes, his determination and this is what shes worked all his life, but he is not emotional and when he does not show emotion, the soul bounds b * tch.Many people commenting on the torture scenes, but it does not bother me - that bothered me is how this film is torture.The overall direction and the film's storyline is so boring that I was impressed with the 95 Metacritic score. And on top of that Oscar nomination? I really want to? They will only make a real documentary based around the right people involved otherwise. At least it would be more interesting coming from a real person. The film tries to a film based around real events and people, but failed so badly that I would have not just stick with the documentary with the real facts and get it over in 90 minutes instead of sitting through terrible two and half hours. That's two and a half hours of my life, I will not be back * 2 stars dedication to the people around these events and hard work .. I give 0 for the film.
