Im not going to waste space with a summary of each report provide a second or third time. A good indication of the challenge and the original film is the number of 1/10 and 10/10 study, in which the review 1/10 cases consisting of only a few lines. Pretty sure sign that people werent able or willing to look with an open mind. What is a good omen for the audience every day to give this film a wide berth.I wish all the people I care about see Requiem for a Dream. Not because they like it, it will teach them something they did not already know, but it is a rare piece of work that will challenge and perhaps change them. It is a film that has never been done before, with nothing to compare with it - a rarity these days. I often find myself recommend the film to those that I can describe them briefly. They are usually most involved and affected people. Id like to see my family, but can not * recommended * to them. Ive recommended two friends and they both have the same response: I'm glad I saw, but I doubt I'll be in the mood to watch it again, knowing what you feel.As I sat watching the title, I I started to cry, but I'm still not sure why. Perhaps in response to devastatingly tragic end, the beauty part (s) of the film, in part, thanks to the good things in my life. I saw it again on the same night with his girlfriend, not because I want to upset him, but I felt that I had to share. After the credits were introduced, both silent for a good ten minutes. I find that I think I want to make, but can not find the words. This is one of the few films that is a painful experience, but I feel compelled to share it with people I love. Part of the short list of others including The Thin Red Line, happiness, River Edge, and deer Hunter.These films all share a quality that is difficult to name. No one likes to feel prevent or dark films, works of art, musical works, but my experience these emotions and asked to think not only entertaining, it is important now and then.Favorite not apply to me - it's not about entertainment. One of the most horrible experiences and beautiful I have watched the film. One of the five movies Ive ever seen.
